Video above: Our soapmaker, Eric, walks the farm in quiet rhythm with our beloved herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats. Naturally curious and deeply loyal, they follow their shepherd instinctively, moving from pasture to pasture with calm trust—no dogs required, only the bond between herd and keeper.
At Libra Estate, our name reflects our philosophy: Libra, the symbol of balance, represents harmony between land, animals, botanicals, and craft. Our skincare begins entirely on our own estate. We use fresh, nutrient-rich goat milk from our own herd—never sourced, never outsourced.
We have chosen to steward the Nigerian Dwarf goat, a smaller breed prized not for volume, but for the extraordinary richness of its milk. Produced in modest quantities, its milk is exceptionally creamy and naturally high in butterfat—qualities that give our soaps their remarkable density, gentleness, and character. It is this rare quality, rather than sheer output, that forms the foundation of every product we create.
Our estate is committed to full provenance. Alongside producing our own milk, we are steadily expanding the cultivation of our own botanicals and herbals, bringing more of our ingredients under our direct stewardship each season.
Each soap is crafted in small batches by our French soapmaker, using time-honored techniques rooted in traditional French savonnerie. This heritage guides every step, from the careful handling of fresh milk to the slow curing that gives our soaps their exceptional character.
The result is true estate skincare—born from balance, guided by French tradition, and created entirely within our own hands.
