"Our Soapmaker grew up in the South of France, where local markets overflowed with handmade soaps, fragrant herbs, and the freshest ingredients. From a young age, he was drawn to the sensory world of natural skincare — learning age-old techniques from artisans in his family. Today, he brings that same French heritage to every skin products he creates, blending fresh goat milk from our own herd with wild botanicals for soap and skin products that feel as honest and luxurious as Provence itself."

About

At Trafalgar Farms, we craft artisanal skin products by hand using the fresh, nutrient-rich milk of our own goats, harvested twice daily. Located near Trappe on Maryland’s Eastern Shore — just 10 minutes from the quaint town of Easton and 30 minutes from the historic waterfront village of St. Michaels — our farm is nestled in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature and forests, where our herd of about 40 goats thrives.

We raise two carefully chosen goat breeds: the royally appointed British Guernseys and the small but productive Nigerian Dwarfs—both renowned for producing milk that is exceptionally rich and creamy, ideal for our handcrafted soaps and skin products.

Each of our soap and skin products is handcrafted in small batches following ancestral French traditions, ensuring exceptional quality and authenticity. We use only the finest natural ingredients — rich, nourishing butters, pure essential oils, and carefully selected botanicals — to create soaps and skin products that are as gentle as they are luxurious.

Trafalgar Farms' goat herd is registered with the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA), and we also actively participate in shows and performance programs. We are currently cultivating some of the most desirable dairy goat bloodlines in the U.S. We place special attention to breeding for high milk butterfat content—a quality especially desirable for crafting our soaps and skincare products. The result is a herd that is both beautiful and productive—yielding the rich, high-quality milk that forms the foundation of our products.

Goats are naturally curious and loyal animals—they instinctively follow their shepherd, making it easy to guide them from pasture to pasture without the need for sheepdogs.
